Kourosh Afsharpour is a video game programmer based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is completing a Master’s in Digital Media Arts & Engineering at Louisiana State University and holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Azad University of Tehran. His work centers on real-time simulation, C++ development, and Unreal Engine.

He is currently building a custom vehicle physics system in Unreal Engine with a full Pacejka MF 5.2 tire model and a real-time dynamics framework designed for responsive interactive use. He is also exploring physics-informed machine learning and reinforcement learning techniques that may complement or enhance traditional vehicle simulation models.

Kourosh contributes to an LSU digital twin project, creating an interactive real-time environment that visualizes building data, human traffic, and environmental conditions. His experience includes gameplay programming, real-time systems development, performance tuning, and contributing to a shipped mobile game title.
