During my research assistantship at Louisiana State University, I operated Arago Rigsters, a photogrammetry rig for scanning real world objects. The setup included mounting a gray curtain to reduce the error of captures, the Rigsters was then calibrated using a special checkerboard. The first figure was a doll dragon seated on the Rigsters table to be captured using the camera attached to Rigsters arm. The scanned images then turned into a high poly 3D model using reality capture. Images below show the environment setup of Arago Rigsters.
